Back and rocking!
*drumming*
I'M BACK V(`▽´)V
Oh yeah! It has been one hell of a two weeks. Really so many things have happened that I still can't believe that are over me. But I must say it feels great to be back on Rockerica, I've really missed writing here.
So to tell the story all from the start.
Last time I've written something here was on the day of my prom. And as predicted the prom night sucked. First of all I was pissed as hell because my styling didn't end up as I wanted it. Instead of having my normal wavy hair, they've ended up making my hair look like a doll's: all curly and cute. And the last thing I'VE wanted was to look like a cute doll. Blah. And my mom put blush on my cheeks and then I looked like a doll even more. Though I've got quite a lot of compliments on the look, I wasn't satisfied with it. But to hell, prom night's are supposed to suck anyway. Oh and not to mention the terrible band that played, whose music made me wish I was born deaf.
After the prom it was learning time for the college entry exams. I've been learning all the days, from morning till evening and it was really tough to sit over six hours and more working over hundreds of tasks from physics, chemistry and biology. And on the top my cell phone died :(. Ok not really died but I couldn't turn it on on a normal way because the on/off button has broken. But I've got a new fancy cell phone: Sony Ericsson W760 with 2GB stick, music player, guitar tuner, games, videos, camera and more. I'm still getting used to it, but I'll never forget my old one who has served me over three years.
And another thing that is new and that surely has brighten up the life of my whole family are our baby kittens! They are like the cutest plush toys you can imagine, just alive and rebellious as rock stars.
Back to the entry exams.
On Tuesday I've had my entry exam for the Faculty of Nature sciences (in short: loooooot's of chemistry, biology and physics). The exam was pretty hard (taking the fact that there were a lot of questions about animals and that I haven't learned anything about animals). Fortunately I have passed and had a reserve in case I wouldn't make it on the medicine.
The day after the exam was a slaughter. I have been going over all of my books, learning hard and trying to memorize as much details as I've could (though I hate memorizing, I learn by understanding). It was really tough.
Like 900 people applied and only 240 were to be taken as medicine students. It was pure chaos to see such a mass of teenagers coming and most f them looking like your average genius. The exam began at 9.20 but I have arrived like an hour earlier with my dad to not miss it. The exam was a real slaughter. Hardcore questions, nightmare physics tasks from hell and three hours to decide upon my future as a doctor or not. After the exam I was quite pissed because it was so terribly hard and I have even cried back home because I was soo angry. I thought all of my hard work was for nothing. I was really pissed and sad.
But in the end it turned out fine. The results were published and I was in the top 40% that have manged to get in. I was partially shocked to see such a good result (I don't have to pay the scholarship EVER!) and also because I was emotionally discharged I didn't jump around from happiness but I was really really happy. My folks of course invited all the neighbors, friends and close family and we have gone out to get drunk (I've drank Blacky, cassis vodka).
So tomorrow I'm off to the college to give my documents and so and maybe I'll buy my guitar (I won't break my promise). So yeah.
I'm a medicine student.
The holidays have officially started.
I'm gonna buy myself a guitar.
I've got kittens I've love.
And I can write on Rockerica.
In short: FUCKING YEAH!
Comments
I've been away as well, but for a medical conference for high schoolers.
Maybe if we both end up being doctors, we'll meet up one day? XD
It's nice to have you back. :]
It would be cool if we could meet one day as doctors on some world congress XD (preferably in Japan).
I'm glad to be back here also (^_^)V.
Dude, if we met one day as doctors on some world congress, it would be such a sweet coincidence. XD
In future, maybe, besides J-rock reviews you might actually have a doctors corner here at Rockerica with medical advise and similar (I want my reader to be healthy ya, so they can comment XD).
