The third album of one of the most popular Oshare kei bands around An Cafe comes as one big, colorful, uninterrupted, 50 minute candy Harajuku rock (as An Cafe reffers to their music) party being just as colorful and vivid as the famous part of Tokyo which inspires them.
The party begins off with the fancy disco flaired rock song Ryuusei Rocket that clearly announces the style of the album: strong, fast guitar riffs, bouncy beat, playful and chunky bass lines all spiced op with charming, yet sometimes trashy keyboard sounds and Miku's irreplaceable voice. Ryuusei Rocket is, alongside my favorite Cherry saku yuuki!! and powerful Kakusei Heroism, one of the songs that were released on previous singles.
The party blasts off with the Merry Making reminiscing S☆B☆Y following up the rather disappointing third spinoff of the song Nyappy in the world and the electric organ decorated rock song Baby King before giving a short pause with the relaxed Daybrake. All of these songs show a refreshed, more mature and harder An Cafe sound that really benefited from the member change of this band because Takuya gives off some really heavy rock riffs while Yu-ki adds the fun to all the songs with the playful, electric sounds.
The album then moves on to the spectacular half with the firework of a song called Pierce, shining with a marvelous passionate refrain and a great instrumental, a song that really blows you away. Kokuritsu hospital then shakes the ground with the fierce metal riffs and fast beat. An Cafe pulls off another charming song Aijou Cycling before going to the adorable last song Orange Dream, enchanted with a beautiful piano instrumental and a cute melody which will make the sun rise on even the gloomiest day.
I think that by now everybody has realized that the change of members has proven to be a very positive thing for An Cafe resulting in a more sophisticated sound acceptable to even the non Oshare kei fans.
So get your friends up, buy cand and get ready for the wildest party in town with Gokutama ROCK CAFE.

1. Cherry咲く勇気!! G(Cherry saku yuuki!!) [PV] [Listen]
2. ONE WAY LOVE [Listen]
3. Cherry咲く勇気!!(instrumental) (Cherry saku yuuki!!)
4. ONE WAY LOVE(instrumental)
This is like the third single An Cafe have released since the band's new formation was established. And now even the most hardcore sceptics about Takuya and Yuuki must admit that An Cafe is becoming better.
Cherry saku yuuki!! is just another merry and over- sweetened Oshare kei bouncer, basically the same thing you've heard from An cafe hundreds of times (just like in the previous single Ryuusei Rocket), but the surprisingly good bridges are those which make the song very enjoyable.
ONE WAY LOVE was probably the most positive surprise I've ever experienced from An cafe. From the very first second you are being bombed with one of the coolest hard-rock riffs and melody I had a chance to hear recently. This song has got balls!! Honestly, it sounds like something you would be listening if you were driving your Harley down on some hot highway. Whoever wrote this is a genius and I must express my deep respect for Takuya as a guitarist.
It's already more than obvious that the B-sides of recent An Cafe singles are more exciting and original than the obligatory oshareish A-sides. ONE WAY LOVE proves more than enough this thesis. This single is a real piece of candy for both oshare kei lovers as well as Hard rock fans who should check the song ONE WAY LOVE out. One is sure... An Cafe is getting better and more mature. Great job guys.
Track list
1. 流星ロケット (Ryuusei Rocket) [PV]
2. 恋のディペンデンス (Koi no dependence)
3. 流星ロケット(instrumental) (Ryuusei Rocket)
4. 恋のディペンデンス (instrumental) (Koi no dependence)
An Cafe delivers their second single with the new band members. Ryuusei Rocket is basically everything you could expect from an An cafe song. Fast, nyappy, energetic and positive. Miku's singing is improving from single to single and the musical skills of the two new band members Takuya and Yuuki come more to surface.
Koi no dependence sounds quite refreshing, new and original compared to Ryuusei Rocket. It is a jazzy funky rock song where the talent of all the band members simply shines. Yuuki's delivers a great piano melody, Kanon's bass is fascinating and even Teruki playes some excellent patterns on his drums. Koi no dependence is definitely one of the better An Cafe songs up to date.
The single also includes the instrumental versions of both of the songs so if you feel like singing or can't stand Miku's voice you can do that with those songs. Overall An Cafe is getting better and an interesting fact is that recently their B-sides of singles are even more exciting than the A-sides. If you like cool oshare songs check this single out.

Tracklist
1. 覚醒ヒロイズム~THE HERO WITHOUT A ‘NAME’~ (Kakusei heroism ~THE HERO WITHOUT A ‘NAME’~) [PV]
After the leaving of the guitarist Bou ,An cafe returned with not just a new guitarist Takuya but also with a new keyboardist Yuuki.
With new members An Cafe has delivered a new sound in their single Kakusei Heroism.
Kakusei heroism ~THE HERO WITHOUT A ‘NAME’~ is the opening song for the anime Darker than Black and is as such a fast, energetic, upbeat rock song. Compared to other An Cafe songs this song sound a bit mature and isn't too playful or childish as some An Cafe songs. Miku's voice has improved a lot and doesn't sound to much nasal as before. The new members also make this song shine with interesting guitar play and nice keyboard spicing.
Respect Mommy ~ Hito no yaku Tatereba ii Jibun no tokui na mono de~ is probably one of the most interesting and experimental An cafe songs with a lot of twists and turns that don't make it boring but do leave the listener a bit confused at the end, because you don't know where this song actually starts or ends. Especially the short instrumental bridge sounds really well.
An Cafe is slowly becoming a mature and serious rock band whose sound is a bit less Oshare and a bit more J-rock than before. If you are an An cafe fan this single is a must listen. And even if you don't consider yourself to be a big An Cafe fan this single might change your opinion.
I've decided to share my latest drawings with you all (^-^). I've made two really good J-rock fanart drawings and I hope you will like them.
1. Bou (ex- An Cafe)
My best friend had birthday and her favorite band is An cafe and her favorite member is (okey, ex-member) the guitarist Bou. So I decided to draw him for her birthday. I had a picture of him on some J-rock magazine and he was dressed like this and I thought that he looks pretty cool. The drawing came out really fine.
2. Kyo (Dir en grey)
At my friends birthday party yesterday we were watching pictures of Kyo and I suddenly got the urge to draw him. I drew him shirtless and all scratched. I basically don't like it when Kyo-san is scratching himself to bleeding but I like this picture, the energy and Kyo's expression (although his face is a bit different then he actually looks, have to practice more).
This is it for now. I'll post more once I draw more
